Chicago holds a special place in my heart. While I was ensconced in the mires of grad school, it was at times my only comfort, knowing I had but a short 2-hour drive to reach the Magnificent Mile. The Chicago River. Decent dance clubs. And more often than not, a few close friends.
My husband and I spent a long weekend in Chicago this past November, for a dear friend’s wedding. I declined to bring my uber-heavy, full-frame camera, but of course I couldn’t resist taking a few photos with the one I did bring!
Here are a few images from a very pleasant walk through Millennium Park. Hopefully our next visit isn’t too far off – can’t wait to go back!

Stay tuned for part 2 of the Chicago posts – an impromptu portrait session with my friend Jen!
