A hallmark holiday? Yeah, maybe. But with all the negativity rearing its head these days, is it such a bad thing to be reminded to tell each other, “I love you?” I know it sounds hopelessly trite, but I mean it. I’m a true believer that it’s the personal interactions, on an individual level, that can make the most difference in our lives. Love is not only for lovers. It’s for mothers and sons and sisters and aunts and friends, too. It’s for those you look up to, and those who make your life better because they’re in it. It’s for those who make you want to be kind, compassionate, and selfless. It’s for yourself.
Happy Monday, friends.
